Qatar- Total offers free accident insurance to drivers on purchasing 'Quartz' oil


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) As part of a sales promotion campaign, Total Marketing Middle East (TMME) company, a Dubai-based wholly owned subsidiary of integrated energy giant Total is offering free Personal Accident Insurance worth up to QR150, 000 to drivers in Qatar on the purchase of 'Quartz' engine oil. In a press statement yesterday, TMME announced that it has tied up with leading international insurance provider AIG to roll out the new campaign starting from April 1 until May 30, on the purchase of Quartz brands of engine oil, customers will receive 12 months of free cover on the spot. The company intends to give away more than 200,000 Personal Accident Insurance policies in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the UAE. A four-litre container of Quartz 5000 will offer QR25,000 worth of protection and four-litre packages of Quartz 7000, 9000 and 4x4 products come with QR50,000. Customers can buy up to three policies each during the promotion, providing up to QR150,000 of personal accident cover free of charge. "Our Quartz lubricant range offers unbeatable protection for your vehicle's engine, and with our latest campaign, drivers are safeguarding both themselves and their vehicle, without the inconvenience of paperwork and approvals," said David Kalife (pictured), Managing Director of TMME. Kalife, providing comparative benefits of the product, said: "Our premium Total Quartz synthetic lubricants protect vehicle engines over longer distances, up to 15,000km compared with 5,000km for conventional mineral oils, and they maintain high performance in extreme conditions of heat and cold."
