(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing her Asian maid of assaulting her and locking her up inside her room, reports Al-Shahed daily. The woman has filed a complaint with the Jahra Police Station. She has submitted a medical report showing bruises on her body allegedly caused by the maid. She also said the maid then stole the jewelry and escaped. Police are looking for the maid. In a similar incident, a Kuwaiti woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing her Sri Lankan maid of stealing KD 680 and gold necklace, reports Al-Rai daily. 45,000 riyals stolen: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Saad Al-Abdullah Police Station accusing an unidentified person of stealing 45,000 riyals, reports Al- Shahed daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
Handbag snatched: An unidentified Asian woman has filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing two persons of snatching her handbag, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The daily added, according to the complainant, who works in a beauty parlour, the incident happened when she was on her way home. The handbag contained KD 120, her cell phone and civil ID.
