2. spend time outdoors

Studies suggest that spending time outdoors staying under the sun and breathing natural air improves a person's alertness by increasing the chemical 'serotonin' in the brain. during weekends as much as you can go outside for a stroll in the park or go for a walk around your vicinity. this will help you prepare for the week ahead and have better sleep during the night. in the workplace make use of your short breaks to just get out of the building and smell fresh air. it helps clear your mind.

Drinking lots and lots of water is a proven method to quickly regain your energy. do you know that humans can last longer without food than without water intake? during hot weather dehydration attacks within an hour. water is needed by our body to refuel as it is needed by our organs and body systems to work properly. always bring a bottle of water with you wherever you are. replace soda and coffee with water and you'll see the effect.

You may want to reconsider your recent decision to quit the gym because it is also proven to boost not only your physique but also your aura and energy. health experts suggest that a quick trip to thegym even after work hours will keep blood running in your body and get you more energized for the next day. if you think gym is nothing but an additional expense any physical activity like walking will do. instead of taking the elevator take the stairs.

6. limit caffeine intake

Most people drink coffee for the wrong reasons thinking coffee will help them stay awake but the long-term effects may be dangerous. coffee is a stimulant. taking more than the suggested amount everyday can cause palpitations. opt for a cup of green tea instead of coffee which makes you more alert for the day. if you can't avoid it at least opt for a decaf.
