(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A man?s oversized boots caused a freak accident making his car crash inside his office and hit the front desk
The incident occurred on thursday morning when a chauffeur of omeir cargo a cargo company was about to park his car near the office front door.
the man was wearing the oversized boots worn by construction workers for safety and the boots got stuck between the brakes and the accelerator. to his horror he found he could not stop the car and the runaway vehicle leapt up on the pavement and crashed into the office.

The entire glass wall at the front came cascading down and the car ploughed through it to hit the front desk. a staff member was present near the desk.
“thank god i managed to control and stop the car before it could hit the front desk staff” said the shaken driver who declined to be named. “the front desk was damaged but no one was injured.” another staff told khaleej times he was sitting in the pantry when he heard a big bang. he came running to see what it was about and was amazed to find a car inside.
“the entire glass front had crashed” said ghulam jam a cargo loader at the office. “normally we sit on the sofa where the car crashed. thank god no one was sitting there at the time of the accident. as it was about 9am there were no customers either.”
Another employee abdul sattar said most of the staff were in the store and pantry when the crash happened drawing a big crowd. abu dhabi police soon rushed to the site with safety and rescue teams and ambulances.
