UAE's Ras Al Khaimah expands its plant in India at USD80 m


(MENAFN) UAE-based Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics, one of the world's biggest makers of floor tiles, plans an expansion project in its plant in India and Bangladesh, in addition to technology upgrades at other plants, according to Arabian Business



The project is estimated to cost USD80 million, and is expected to start in June, said its chief executive



Abdallah Massaad said: "This year we have an expansion coming.



The company, which makes ceramic wall tiles and sanitary ware as well as floor tiles, could make as much as USD953 million revenue in 2013.



Massaad added: "This year we have spending on CAPEX of $80 million.
