(MENAFN) Nakilat Damen Shipyards Qatar (NDSQ) has inked two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Armed Forces to build seven vessels, The Peninsula Qatar reported
The USD843.6 million MoUs include that building of six 50 meter-long axe-bow high-speed patrol vessels and one 52 meter-long diving support vessel
Managing Director of Nakilat and Chairman of NDSQ said: "To be given the opportunity to build these vessels in Qatar for Qatar will be an incredible achievement and a strong contribution to the continued growth of our nation's marine industry.
The MoUs signed also include a large integrated logistic support package
