(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Customers who have pre-ordered Samsung S5 smartphone through Vodafone will be able to pick up their handsets from April 11 at any Vodafone stores in Qatar
Vodafone Qatar said in a statement yesterday those awaiting the launch of Samsung S5 can pre-order their handsets through Vodafone Qatar's website www.vodafone.qa/S5.
Samsung S5 pre-ordering is open for white and black and will be later expanded to include pre-ordering for blue and gold. Customers will need to allocate a QR250 deposit for pre-booking, which will be deducted from the final price
Vodafone is the only telecom operator in the country to offer customers the chance to reserve their favourite handset and ensures that they walk away with it on the day of the launch

The Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) OS-based Samsung S5 boasts a 5.1-inch FHD Super AMOLED (1920x1080) display screen and a 2Gb memory RAM. Customers can opt between 16 and 32 Gb User Memory with a microSD slot
The handset features main (rear) camera of 16 MP, a Sub (front) camera of 2.0 MP, fingerprint and a heart rate sensor among loads of other specs
