Qatar- QAFAC participates in Gastech event


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Fuel Additives Company (QAFAC) successfully participated in the four-day 'Gastech Exhibition and Conference 2014', which concluded on Thursday at the Korea International Exhibition Centre in Seoul.



QAFAC, in a press statement, said that H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman of QP, was among the VIPs who were present at the event's inauguration ceremony. Al Sada visited QAFAC pavilion during the opening of the exhibition.



Delegates from QAFAC were led by the corporate General Manager Nasser Jeham Al Kuwari who has referred to the importance of participating in this event which consists of more than 300 international exhibitors. "The exhibition and conference Gastech 2014 is a global meeting of international energy companies operating in the gas industry and it sheds light on the prominent role of Qatar in the gas industry", said Al Kuwari.



QAFAC was established as a Qatari joint stock company to build, own and operate facilities at Mesaieed industrial city for the production of Methanol and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) for sale to customers worldwide. QAFAC plant produces 983,330 TPA of Methanol and 610,000 TPA of MTBE
