Kuwait Fund Offers Loan for Argentina Water Project


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) on Wednesday signed a loan agreement with Argentina, according to which the former will offer a loan of $51 million to the South American country to fund the construction of the Reconquista aqueduct in the central Santa Fe province. "The aqueduct project will provide Reconquista residents of at least six villages and surrounding residential complexes with high quality fresh water," state news agency KUNA reported citing a press statement by KFAED. The loan, which was signed in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires, will primarily go toward providing the project with infrastructure work. With this loan, KFAED will have given Argentina two loans with a total of $85 million to finance water and road projects
