(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah met here today separately with Bulgaria Defence MinisterTodor Tagarev , Defence Minister of Mongolia Dasdemberel Bat-Erdene, Deputy Defence Minister and National Navy commander in Vietnam Admiral Nguyen Van Hien , Chief of Staff of the Croatia armed forces Drago Lovric , Iran's Assistant Minister of Defence Admiral Amir Rastegari, Philip Dunne, UK minister for defence equipment, support and technology Philip Dunne, US commander of the Fifth Fleet Admiral John Miller, Representative of Turkish defense industries Murad Diyarbakir , as well as the Boeing Company board chairman , and Chairman of the Board of Directors in Dassault.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the opening of the Fourth International Maritime Defence Exhibition (DIMDEX 2014), hosted by Doha from 25 to 27 March , at the Qatar National Convention Centr
Discussions during the meetings dealt with topics of common interest, especially military affairs. The meetings were attended by a number of senior officers of the armed force
