The joint venture deal is for operating and maintaining a planned USD11 billion rail network in the UAE
Chairman of Etihad Rail DB said: "The company will pave the way for the railway operations in the UAE and set a benchmark in the region.
Etihad Rail DB will manage operations for the railway's first stage, ansporting granulated sulphur on a 264-kilometer route
Deutsche Bahn, which operates passenger and freight services on a 33,500-kilometer rail network, is Europe's largest railway company
