Bani yas came into this game after three losses on the trot. and despite not able to call on the services of three of their four foreign signings bani yas won 2-1.

Bani yas then took the lead three minutes later and preserved it to win the game. dead-ball specialist nawaf mubarak fired in a curling left-footed freekick which sailed over the wall before dipping into the net.
