(MENAFN Editorial) The region's ability to host international association meetings will come under the spotlight at the upcoming Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings (GIBTM) Exhibition in Abu Dhabi (24-26 March) at a panel discussion entitled 'Association 101: International Association Meetings in the Middle East'.
Hosted by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), and moderated by Mr Steen Jakobsen, ICCA's 3rd Vice President and Director of the Dubai Convention and Events Bureau (DCEB), on March 25, the panel will delve into the opportunities and challenges of organising international association meetings in the Middle East and highlight what makes the region unique
With years of regional and international experience in the business events sector, an expert panel will share insights and tips for organizing international meetings as they also discuss destinations within the region and what they are doing to attract international association business. Included in the panel are:
