Qatar's IQ new units push petrochemical revenue


(MENAFN) Industries Qatar's newly launched facilities have pushed the group's revenue in its petrochemical segment last year, The Peninsula Qatar reported



The Group logged the first full year of operation by its petrochemical and fertilizer facilities launched during 2012, adding 2 mtpa of urea and 240,000tpa of LPDE to its capacity, pushing total capacity from 13.7 mtpa to 16 mtpa



The petrochemical segment's revenue in the year hit USD1.4 billion, increasing 12.3 percent from that of 2012



Meanwhile, the fertilizer segment had a revenue of USD1.67 billion in the year, increasing 2.4 percent from 2012
