Kuwaiti held in possesion of unlicensed weapon, drugs


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in possession of unlicensed weapon and illicit drugs in Sharq, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, when officers of Capital Governorate were patrolling Sharq area, they noticed a motorist driving recklessly and ordered him to pull over. When they asked him for his documents, they noticed he was jittery and checked him to find 176 narcotic pills, an unlicensed weapon loaded with 13 rounds of bullets and tools used for drug consumption. They arrested the suspect and referred him to the concerned authority for necessary legal procedures. Meanwhile, a 23-year old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Saad Al-Abdullah area in possession of 15 narcotic pills. Jahra securitymen stopped the suspect for checking and sensed his disoriented state. They checked his vehicle and found a white plastic bag hidden under the front passenger seat which contained two wraps of hashish and drug-intake tools. The suspect was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him
