Saudi Arabia Censures Iraq PM "Aggressive and Irresponsible" Statements


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Saudi Arabia has expressed "disapproval and astonishment" over comments by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki it deemed "aggressive and irresponsible" after he accused Riyadh in an interview with France24 of supporting terrorism in Iraq, an official Saudi source told state news agency SPA. Al-Malki is aware of Saudi Arabia's "clear and unequivocal position against terrorism in all its forms and whatever its source," the source said. "He knows well about the great efforts being exerted by the kingdom in combating terror at both the local and global levels, putting our country at the forefront countries addressing the phenomenon.
