(MENAFN - Arab Times) Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and in the presence of His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the graduation ceremony of the 40th batch of cadets, 25th batch of officers and the 6th batch of female officers was held Monday at the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences.



The motorcade of His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince was warmly welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Interior Undersecretary Lt Sulaiman Fahad Al-Fahad, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Education and Training Affairs Maj Gen Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, assistant undersecretaries at the Ministry of Interior, Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Major General Mohammed Saif Al-Saif and senior Interior Ministry officer



Following the national anthem and a recitation of the holy Quran, Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Saif Al-Saif welcomed the patronage of His Highness the Amir and the attendance of Deputy Amir




Al-Saif said that the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy has honed the graduates' talents and got them accustomed to the latest systems of training, thanks to the tremendous care extended by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Interior Ministe



He also spoke about the graduates coming from the GCC states who have shared their experiences with their Kuwaiti colleagues, who are eager to safeguard their countries and preserve safety of citizen



Al-Saif urged the graduates to adhere to loyalty and devotion to God and the homeland, as well as to ethical conduct, honesty, calling on them to disdain from everything that harms the prestige of the security ma



He asked Allah Almighty to bestow the Amir with the best of health and return home safe and sound the Deputy Amir then handed the graduates their certificate



His Highness was also given a memorial shield of the academy on this occasion.
