Raytheon signs USD655m contract with Kuwait


(MENAFN) US defence firm Raytheon announced that it signed a USD655 million contract with Kuwait to bolster its Patriot Air and Missile Defence System, Arabian Business reported



The new-production ire units were in addition to the Patriot fire units Kuwait currently owned to counter current and evolving threats



Vice-president of Integrated Air and Missile Defense at Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems business said: "We continue to see an increased interest in and demand for the advanced Patriot as the system is called to duty in hot spots around the world.
