Tuilagi had been absent for five months following a pectoral injury, but the centre made his comeback for Leicester Tigers in their 41-18 win over Newcastle Falcons on Sunday

Meanwhile, Yarde is back to fitness after 14 weeks out with a hip injury

The London Irish winger returned to action last weekend, but could not prevent his side from succumbing to a 18-0 loss to Exeter Chiefs

England coach Stuart Lancaster was suitably impressed by both players, but concedes they have work to do if they are to feature in the crunch clash with Wales at Twickenham

"We'll see how it goes after training on Tuesday and Wednesday but obviously it would be a big step, in particular for Manu as he has only played one game and he has not trained with us all year," said Lancaster

"Marland has been (training) with us a bit longer and obviously we've got some decisions to make there. He played well at the weekend but it's still quite a bit step

"I don't feel any pressure (to recall Tuilagi), the only pressure I feel is to do what's right for the team. You've got to be fair to the players who have played and played well but also recognise Manu's quality

"It will be good to see him and get him up to speed with everything.

England and Wales are two of four sides level on four points after the first three rounds of Six Nations fixtures, with Ireland and France, who face Italy and Scotland respectively, also in contention for the title

Lancaster's men beat Ireland 13-10 in their last encounter and can secure a first triple crown since 2003 with victory over Warren Gatland's side
