Kuwait- Securitymen Arrest 2 Trying To Sell Stolen Gold, Jewelry In Shops


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences arrested a Bedoun man and an Arab expatriate after attempting to sell stolen gold and jewelry in gold shops in Salmiya area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to sources, investigations by the officers led to the arrest of a Bedoun man inside a gold shop in Salmiya area while he was trying to sell stolen jewelry



The officers confiscated the stolen items, which included diamond and gold jewelry, and expensive wristwatches. When questioned, he revealed the identity of his Arab accomplice. The second suspect was arrested and both suspects were referred to the police station



During interrogations, they confessed to committing seven burglaries in Hawally area. They revealed that they had managed to sell some of the stolen jewelry to buy two vehicles and drugs. Officers discovered that they were involved in several other cases. They were referred to the concerned authorities for further investigation
