Etisalat organises Auction for special Numbers with Packages


(MENAFNEditorial) Etisalat, the leading telecom operator in the UAE, today announced that it will be organising an auction on special numbers with Etisalat VIP Plans.



The auction is part of the company's continuous efforts to support social responsibility programmes and was announced during the signing of an agreement with Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Auction at Etisalat's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.



Part of the auction revenue will be used to support Khalifa Foundation programmes while another part will be used to support Etisalat's CSR projects



Saleh Al Abdooli, CEO, Etisalat said: "We see corporate social responsibility as a national commitment and Etisalat has always been a leader in this field. Our partnership with Khalifa Foundation is in line with our existing CSR strategy to work collaboratively with other organisations on projects that will have a positive impact on society.



His Excellency Mohammed Hajji Al Khouri, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Director-General said: I would like to thank Etisalat for adopting projects that help strengthen the principles of CSR in commercial companies and for the role they play in continuously supporting national initiatives.



"Etisalat has always pioneered creative initiatives that support social programmes and, as such, has set an example for other companies to follow.



The numbers, along with the relevant packages, will be auctioned by the Emirates Auctions Company on March 8 at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai and Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
