Eid Charity Sends Relief Convoy for Syrian Displaced and Refugees


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sheikh Eid Bin Mohammad Al Thani Charitable Association (Eid Charity) sent today a new relief convoy for the Syrian refugees and displaced, with a total value of QAR 7 million. Eid Charity said in a statement that the convoy is carriying foodstuffs and blankets for the internally displaced people (IDPs) in Hama and Idlib outskirts, South Damascus, AlGhouta and for the refugees in Lebanon. The Convoy is part of the Qatari humanitarian assistance for the Syrian refugees and IDPs, said Eid Charity's Projects Manager Ali Khalid Al-Hajiri. Eid Charity is keen to reach the largest number of Syrians in and outside the conflict torn country, he added.
