(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) Morocco and Hungary on Tuesday signed a declaration of intent to strengthen dialogue among cultures.



This Declaration illustrates the importance the two countries attach to the consolidation of intercultural dialogue as an essential tool to promote tolerance and peace, and as a source of social and economic development, Morocco news agency (MAP) It encourages stakeholders in both countries, including civil society, universities, local authorities, and tourism professionals to implement initiatives to promote shared cultural heritage projects, including "The history of Islamic Architectural Heritage in Europe" and "The History of European Heritage in North Africa and the Mdle East." The Declaration was signed by Minister-delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, following talks between the two officials.




Bouaida said the signing of this document is part of the initiatives taken to strengthen cooperation between Moroccan and Hungarian stakeholders, and to bolster ties between the two countries.



For his part, the Hungarian official stressed that Morocco is an important partner in Africa, noting that his working visit to the Kingdom aims to explore new horizons for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, automotive industry, and agriculture
