Bahrain to help Philippine survivors with USD1.6 m


(MENAFN) Bahrain plans to invest USD1.6 million in infrastructure projects in the Philippines, according to Arabian Business



Through the project, Bahrain will build 500 housing units and two vocational complexes for youth and sports in Tacloban and Subic Bay Freeport



An agreement has been signed between the Bahrain Red Crescent Society and the Philippine National Red Cross as part of a humanitarian program to help survivors of Typhoon Haiyan



Bahrain's Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: "There's always this special bond between the Philippines and Bahrain altogether.
