QU, IBN plan meet for Qatari entrepreneurs


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Aiming at promoting entrepreneurship among the younger generation, Qatar University (QU), in collaboration with Interactive Business Network (IBN), is hosting a two-day 'Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum', which is set to kick start from tomorrow at the QU



The event, to be held under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Industry, H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, will feature international experts in business, education, finance and government as keynote speakers



The conference themed 'fostering the new generation of entrepreneurs in Qatar and the Gulf", will bring together young, prospective business owners with established business leaders to encourage and support the spirit of entrepreneurship in Qatar and the Gulf through practical advice



Speakers opening the conference will be Dr Al Sada; Professor Sheikha Al Misnad, President of QU; Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Qatari Businessmen's Association and a Trustee of QU; Sultan Rashid Al Khater, Undersecretary, Ministry of Economy and Commerce (Qatar); Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, CEO of Qatar Development Bank and Raed Chehaib, CEO of IBN



Business experts who will be leading panel discussions and delivering keynote presentations during the forum include: Sheikha Hanadi Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani, Chairperson of Injaz (Qatar), Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, CEO of Khalifa Fund (UAE), Amal Al Mannai, Executive Director, Social Development Center (Qatar), Farhan Kalaldeh, Executive Director, Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (Jordan and many others
