GCC countries to build USD15.4 b railway project


(MENAFN) The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries plan a railway project that connects between them, and is expected to cost about USD15.4 billion, according to Gulf News



Abdullah Al Shibli, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC, said that the railway will extend over 2.117 kilometers, starting from Kuwait ending in Oman



The 30th GCC summit has started preparing the engineering design of the project which will be controlled by the Gulf Railway Authority
