(MENAFN) The Iraqi cabinet has approved the oil pipeline project between Iraq and Jordan, according to Qatar News Agency
The announcement was revealed in a meeting between the Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and the Iraqi Minister of Transport Hadi Al Ameri held in Jordan on Saturday
The two parties have also discussed the need to set up a rail network between the two countries during the meeting
Jordan's prime minister said that Jordan is interested in strengthening ties with Iraq in various sectors to cover the two countries' needs
