Kuwaiti Trio In Car Thefts


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Hawally securitymen arrested three Kuwaitis for stealing vehicles and the possession of unlicensed ammunition. Acting on a tip-off, the securitymen put the citizens under surveillance to verify the information they received on the illegal activities of the trio. After confirming the suspects are involved in a series of car thefts, the officers arrested them. The officers also found bullets, sharp objects and plate numbers of vehicles in the possession of the suspects, who were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action. Meanwhile, anti-narcotics officers from the Drug Control General Department (DCGD) arrested two Asian men for trafficking in drugs with different types of narcotic substances in their possession



Gang admits theft: A gang of four men specialized in raiding camps were apprehended for stealing power generator in a recent campaign led by Ahmadi Security Chief Major General Ayeth Abdullah. The arrest followed a complaint one Kuwaiti lady filed with the security directorate against an unknown person who stole power generator from their camp. She provided detail of the vehicle which was used in perpetrating the theft, and a team of officers was formed to trail the suspects. In the meantime, driver of the vehicle was apprehended in the company of three other suspects and the stolen generator was found after the officers conducted a search inside the car. They confessed looting several camps and selling them for half the original price. Also, the officers arrested 29 individuals from different nationalities for violating residency law and recovered 8 stolen vehicles in Jelaia. They were referred to the concerned authorities
