Dubai's DP World container volumes fall 3.8 percent


(MENAFN) Consolidated container volumes of Dubai's DP World, the world's third biggest port operator, have dropped by 3.8 percent in 2013 on the back of selling one of its assets in Hong Kong, according to Arab News



DP World could handle over 26 million TEU through terminals, or twenty-foot equivalent container units in 2013



The company added that gross volumes boosted slightly in like-for-like terms



Sales of the port operator reached overseas countries, and exited markets where it does not have a significant presence
