(MENAFN) Bahrain's jobless rate contracted in the last quarter of 2013 to 4.3 percent from 4.6 percent in the quarter before it, Saudi Gazette reported
The country's Minister of Labor said that the report showing these figures reflects the success of the ongoing recruitment efforts
He said that the monthly average of recruitment increased to 1,629 citizens during the period, stating that December was the best performing month in terms of the number of citizens recruited with 1,917 Bahrainis recruited
Around 4,888 Bahraini citizens were employed in the quarter
