(MENAFN) Al Bateen Executive Airport posted an 18 percent increase in aircraft traffic and a six percent increase in commercial aircraft traffic last year, Khaleej Times reported
The general manager of the dedicated business aviation airport said: "Al Bateen executive Airport performed very well last year with a continuation of its success in attracting new business.
He added that the surge in traffic is a sign of Abu Dhabi's position "as a destination for business and leisure travel and Al Bateen's position as a turn-key solution for business aviation in the region"
During the year, the airport introduced new services that include the distribution of newspapers onboard and fuel uplift services
