Saudi M3 money supply reaches 10.9 percent growth


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) said that growth of Saudi Arabia's M3 money supply was slower than expected as it reached 10.9 percent year-on-year in the end of December compared to 13.5 percent in 2012, according to Arab News



During December, bank lending to the private sector registered its lowest performance since February 2012 hitting 12.5 percent compared to 13.8 percent in November



Net foreign assets of the central bank reached a record high at USD716.7 billion in December, up 10.7 percent from a year ago
