Oman's value of traded property hits USD5b


(MENAFN) The value of traded property in Oman increased by 21.5 percent to reach USD5.04 billion in the first eleven months of 2013, Times of Oman reported



The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) said that the amount of fees collected on all legal actions during the period came at USD65.5 million versus USD50.2 million during the same period the year before it



The figures released by the NCSI show that the largest volume of activity within the real estate sector during the period was with mortgage contracts which were valued at USD3.3 billion, accounting for 66.2 percent of the total value of property trade during the period
