UAE's Etihad to expand destinations to reach South America


(MENAFN) Etihad Airways plans to expand its destinations to reach South America under a deal with Spanish carrier Air Europa, according to Gulf News



The first direct flight from Abu Dhabi to Madrid is expected to be launched in late 2014



The two airlines signed a codeshare deal that will offer the three-times-weekly Air Europa-operated Abu Dhabi-Madrid service.



Under the agreement, Etihad passengers will be able to access to Air Europa destinations in Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela and Brazil, in addition to its new destination in South America
