(MENAFN- Arab Times) The criminal investigation men have referred several Arab women to the concerned authorities after they were caught begging for alms in front of mosques carrying babies in their arms, reports Al-Rai daily. The 'beggars' have been referred to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country

Sponsor cheats Uganda farmers: 19 farmers from Uganda recently visited the Al-Rai daily to complain about their sponsor who hired them on KD 200 monthly salary and after arriving in Kuwait and stamping their residence is paying them a paltry KD 60, reports Al-Rai daily. The workers said they had no alternative but to accept the salary and even then they were not paid their salaries for several months. They went on to say they work from 05:00 am to 8:00 pm and that the sponsor keeps their passports and Civil IDs to prevent them from escaping

They added, when they asked the sponsor to pay their back pay, he allegedly chased them out of their accommodation and now they live in a mosque in Jabriya. The workers have appealed to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to find a solution for their problem. In an unrelated incident, immigration officers of the Kuwait International Airport have arrested two Bangladeshis for allegedly attempting to enter the country illegally on forged passports, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily
