Kuwaiti, officer referred for probe


(MENAFN- Arab Times) In response to several rumors and speculations circulating on social networking websites and media about a quarrel that broke out between a Kuwaiti citizen and a traffic officer because the latter issued a citation against the citizen, Media Security Department at Ministry of Interior affirmed that both individuals have been referred for investigations. In a press release, the department clarified that they were referred to the Surveillance and Inspection Department for investigating the issue



It also stressed that the Ministry of Interior is keen on handling such cases impartially such that it protects the status of law, dignity of the police officer and rights of the citizens in line with the law.



Meanwhile, when someone informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior about the presence of a strange object adjacent to the General Administration for Nationality and Travel Documents Department in Dajeej bomb disposal experts who were dispatched to the area found anti-armor high explosive shell, reports Al-Shahed daily. Without going into details the daily said the experts moved the object to safety
