Dubai's Drydocks to build USD730 m rig


(MENAFN) The Dubai-based group Drydocks World will construct the world's largest rig for the North Sea at USD730 million, according to Arabian Business



Drydocks' chairman, Khamis Juma Buamim, said the order is part of a number of contracts that are estimated at USD1.4 billion by the third quarter



The rig, called CJ-80, will be the largest rig ever built, and is expected to be ready to operate in 2017
