Golden Tulip to open 24 hotels in MENA region


(MENAFN) French-based Golden Tulip Hotels Suites and Resorts has announced that the its plan to launch 24 new hotels in the MENA region in the following two years, Arabian Business reported



"We aim, in 2014 and 2015, to open one hotel every month on average, and we are very much on track. In one month we may open three, and in one quarter we may open three," said the hotel's MENA president



The president has also announced that five hotels will be closed in the same period. "I will be losing three to five hotels in the next 24 months due to either contracts expiring or hotels not being renovated or up to par with the standard hotel classification requirement," he said
