Kuwiat- Fire in palace


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah revealed that fire broke out in one of the rooms in the guest buildings of Bayan Palace Thursday morning. However, no casualties or injuries were reported but material loss was incurred. He indicated that Kuwait Fire Service Directorate has formed an investigation committee to determine the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, a source from KFSD explained that a minor fire broke out in a room in the Failaka building of Bayan Palace. The fire was extinguished in record time before it spread to other rooms



2 maids dead: Two housemaids died due to inhalation of burning charcoal fumes inside a livestock pen in Kabad area, reports Al- Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen about his two housemaids lying unconscious inside a room in his livestock pen in Kabad area, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics. Paramedics examined them to discover they had died due to inhalation of the charcoal fumes that were left burning while they were sleeping. The corpses were referred to the Forensics Department
