Etihad Airways passenger traffic hit 12m in 2013


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways announced that it achieved a new record in passenger and cargo volumes last year, Arabian Business reported. Around 12 million people took flights with the carrier in 2013, registering a 16 percent increase versus 10.3 million logged in 2012. The carrier's busiest route was Bangkok once again, with a total of 742,759 passengers, while Manila came second with 547,068 followed by London and Jeddah with 544,564 and 373,651 respectively.
