(MENAFN - Arab Times) A 24-year old Bedoun youth died when a 16-year old GCC juvenile stabbed him in his chest during a quarrel between them in Ardiya Industrial Area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a Bedoun youth who died after arriving at Farwaniya Hospital due to a stab wound on his chest, securitymen rushed to the location and discovered that two paramedics had brought the youth to the hospital. Investigations with the paramedics revealed that they were near a cafe in Ardiya Industrial Area when they saw a youth stab the victim on the chest near the heart region and run away. They immediately rushed the victim to Farwaniya Hospital and tried to save his life; however, the victim died after reaching the hospital.

The victim's corpse has been referred to the Forensics Department. Securitymen took down the description of the suspect from the paramedics and circulated it to the patrol teams. Within two hours, they managed to arrest the 16-year old youth from his house and found the knife with which he had stabbed the victim. When they questioned him, he confessed that a quarrel broke out between them and he stabbed the victim without intending to murder him. A case was registered against the suspect at Sabah Al-Nasser Police Station and he has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigations.
