(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for trafficking in drugs and security operatives seized 2kg of marijuana he had smuggled from an unspecified Asian country. Apparently, the Drug Control General Department received a tip-off about the drug peddling activities of the suspect and took necessary step to nail him, in coordination with relevant authorities. Security sources said the suspect hid narcotics inside home appliances via air cargo, and it was the fourth time was smuggling drug into the country. He named another citizen as his accomplice and confessed supplying the contraband to him. The suspect with the item was referred to Drug Prosecution.
